Dr. Jody Berquist, DVM

Animals have been a large part of Dr. Berquist's life since childhood being active in 4-H and growing up on a farm in Proctor, MN. Her desire to become a veterinarian deepened while working at a veterinary clinic during high school and college. Dr. Berquist completed her requirements for vet school at the Univeristy of Minnesota-Duluth and received her B.S. in veterinary science from the University of Minnesota in 1994. In 1998, she graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Berquist has been employed as a full-time veterinarian at Superior Animal Hospital since graduating in 1998. Her areas of interest are dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Berquist enjoys walking on the beach of Lake Superior with her dogs, scuba diving vacations, and motorcycle trips. Her family consists of her husband, Robert, whom she married in 1993; three stepchildren and six grandchildren. She also shares her home with three dogs-Jade (Golden Retriever mix), Liba (Labrador mix), and Grace (Standard Poodle), and three cats-Macska, Ike and Hallie.
