Dr. Jennifer Shamla, DVM

Dr. Shamla is a native of Brule, Wisconsin where she attended Northwestern High School. She went on to receive bachelor of science degrees in both Biology and Broadfield Science from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1996. As an undergraduate she performed in the UWS Symphonic Band and Chamber Orchestra, as well as many other local music groups. Dr. Shamla received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2000.

Following graduation, Dr. Shamla and her husband Jon returned to Superior where she has been employed at Superior Animal Hospital since July 2000. Her special professional interest is in orthopedics.

Dr. Shamla and Jon welcomed their son Thomas in August 2003. Her other interests include stained glass and woodworking. Her home is also shared by her dog Henry and three cats.
